My Reflection
 I am learning to tell and measure time
 I was able to understand 24 hour time
I found it hard to convert time between analog and digital clocks
My next step is to work on calculating elapsed time and say how much time has passed.

I am learning to write a paragraph with a DASH.
I was able to write my paragraph with a DASH.
I found this easy because I love writing and am very creative.
My next step is to work on adding punctuation.

I am learning to identify the different uses of colloquial language in the text.
I was able to find all the colloquial language in the text and explain what they mean.
I found this easy to identify colloquial language because it was quite different from the other text.
My next step is to work on using punctuation in my writing.

My Reflection
I was learning to write a information report about volcanoes.
I was able to do research and write it using paragraphs.
I found this challenging to find all of the information in time and type it up.
My next step is to try and work on my writers challenge as much as possible.

I am learning about 3 digit numbers and showing what I know about them.
I was able to successfully complete my activity by asking for help.
I found this easy because I have learnt this sort of thing before.
My next step is to get better at division and fractions.

My next step is to try to convince someone to buy what i'm selling.

I was able to search the web for information about volcanoes.
I found this easy because I have learnt about volcanoes before.
My next step is to focus on my time range and try to stay within it.

I found this easy because I could scim and scam for the answers.
My next steps are to be able to summarise the main idea.

In this I had to think of words that related to the war.
I chose this activity because I liked that you could use your knowledge to test yourself.

My reflection
I am learning to write paragraphs about me.
I was able to write a paragraph at a relational level.
This means I used words like because,like,so to connect my ideas.
I found it challenging to write a paragraph about a fun fact about me.

I found it easy because I already know about this activity I have done this before.
I was able to get my friend to help me along the way.
Next time I want to get better at trying to answer the Questions a bit better.

Welcome Post 2019

Welcome to my learning blog for year 5 in 2019.
This year I am in Room 25. My teacher is Miss D'Souza.
I enjoy reading, ice-skating, fashion, maths, piano, cats.
My goal for the year is to try my best as possible at everything I do. I am looking forward to doing more interesting work in class. I hope you enjoy my blog and leave lots of feedback for me.
