It was Grandparents Day at Elm Park School

and we had some special visitors in room 7.

They helped us make a Christmas lantern, looked at the fabulous

work we've been doing this term and read us a book or two.

What a great morning we had with our special visitors

Elm Park School had a Book Character Parade on Friday.

Room 7 dressed up as a character from their favourite book.

I am learning write a sentence independently.

In Room 7 I am learning to write independently.

We have special things in our class such as our yellow cards to help us

find the letters and some words we want to write.

"I can find the word 'I'."

I am learning to make a pattern.

"I have made a pattern with blue, green, red and yellow blocks."

I am learning to know that the illustration helps me to read new words.

"I am looking at the caterpillar."

We went to Ambury Farm. We learn't about the animals that live on the farm, where milk and wool comes from and how to feed the animals.

My favourite thing was:

"I liked feeding the animals."
